The project "Construction of the Youth Center Blagoevgrad" aims to create a modern, accessible, and stimulating space for young people aged 13 to 29. It provides support for personal development, social engagement, and professional realization of youth. The project aims to encourage leadership and develop active participation of young people in public life.

Funding instrument: National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, Pillar 1 "Innovative Bulgaria", Component 1 "Education and Skills", Investment 4 "Youth Centers".
Final recipient: Municipality of Blagoevgrad.
Total project budget: 4,276,652.36 BGN, of which 3,719,300.86 BGN is European funding and 557,351.50 BGN is national co-financing.
Contract duration: 23.02.2024 – 30.06.2026.
Main objective: Construction of a Youth Center in Blagoevgrad, which provides space and resources for the exchange of experiences and ideas, and for participation in various initiatives for young people aged 13 to 29. The goal is to provide support for personal development, encourage social engagement, and develop leadership and creative skills in young people, so they can actively participate in public life.
Specific objectives:
– Creating a motivating and supportive environment for effective career orientation, realization, and personal development of young people
– Establishing partnerships with local businesses and supporting the successful integration of young people into the labor market
– Enhancing the digital skills of young people, and developing entrepreneurial and financial literacy
– Developing specific soft skills and other competencies for social inclusion and employability through the application of all forms of lifelong learning
