The project "Construction of the Youth Center Blagoevgrad" includes a series of strategic activities aimed at its overall planning, construction, promotion, and sustainable management. Each activity is an integral part of the overall vision – to create a modern, inspiring space for young people that encourages their development, participation, and social activity. From effective organization and management, through communication with the public, to the actual construction and equipping of the Center – each step is planned with care for the needs and interests of young people in the region.

Ето правилния превод: The implementation of the activity includes the following measures: making and installing temporary and permanent explanatory signs; organizing and holding two press conferences (introductory and closing), as well as an official "opening ceremony"; publishing press releases in the media; developing and maintaining a project website; brochures; roll-up banners; informational stickers; pens; folders and notepads, as well as promotional packages containing a backpack, vest, t-shirt, cap, and winter hat.
The main objectives of the activity for information, communication, and publicity are to inform the public about the source of European funding – the NextGenerationEU instrument of the EU, and to ensure maximum transparency in the process of using funds from the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) and the implementation of the funded investment.
The activity includes the following sub-activities:
– Carrying out construction and installation works for the creation of the Youth Center – Blagoevgrad;
– Performing construction supervision during the construction of the site;
– Performing author supervision during the construction of the site;
– Delivery and installation of the necessary equipment and furnishing of the newly built Youth Center.
Part of the Youth Center will be located in the existing building of the former Inter-school Center for Vocational and Polytechnical Training, which will be connected to an annex. The new building will include a reception area with a spacious lobby, a coffee and social contact zone, a multifunctional hall with a capacity of one hundred seats, and sanitary facilities. On the second floor, there will be five triple rooms. The premises in the existing building will be transformed into specialized spaces for non-formal education and training: an art room, a language training room, theater, music, and computer rooms, as well as offices for the team. The Center will be fully furnished and equipped under the project in accordance with the needs of young people.
Within the scope of the activity, employment contracts have been signed with a total of ten individuals for the following positions: Manager of the Youth Center – Blagoevgrad, psychologist, social worker, five youth workers, and two educational mediators. After the official opening of the Youth Center – Blagoevgrad, a cleaner and a housekeeper will also be hired.

After the completion of the construction and renovation works for the Youth Center – Blagoevgrad, the team will continue fulfilling its duties at the new location in the central part of Blagoevgrad, 17 Alexander Stamboliyski Boulevard. All employees are hired on fixed-term employment contracts until 30.06.2026, on full-time – 8-hour working days, five days a week. Their working hours are from 08:30 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 17:30 on weekdays.
This activity involves organizing and conducting training sessions for the main target group.
The partner, the Centre for Personal Development Support – Center for Work with Children, will be responsible for conducting non-formal training sessions on a minimum of 30 topics:
- Development of soft skills through non-formal education methods:

– "Financial literacy"
– "Presenting oneself to employers"
– "Teamwork"
– "Initiative and entrepreneurship"
– "Coping with stressful situations"
– "Critical thinking"

– "Social inclusion, overcoming negative attitudes"
– "Prevention and reduction of dropout and early school leaving"
- Implementation of targeted measures to engage the Roma target group, including work with parents and a focus on Roma girls:
– "Gender stereotypes and profession"
– "Social roles in society – parenting and professional realization"
– "Early career guidance and certification"
– "Psychological aspects of health"
– "Family environment"
– "Early childhood development and parental engagement"
– "Prevention and risks of early pregnancy"
– "Protection against sexually transmitted diseases"
– "Family planning, gynecological check-ups, prevention of unwanted pregnancy"
– „Детско хранене, ваксинации, предпазване от инциденти в домашна среда“; „Превенция на домашното насилие и вредни традиционни практики в общността“
- Езикови курсове – предвижда се провеждането на обучителни курсове по български и английски език.
- Кариерно ориентиране и развитие:
– „Професионална компетентност и кариерно развитие – избор и подготовка, основни умения за реализиране на пазара на труда“;
– „Изготвяне на автобиография, мотивационно писмо, участие в интервю за наемане на работа и лично представяне“;
– „Социални и комуникационни умения за успешно професионално развитие“;
– „Значение на личната активност за планиране и преодоляване на предизвикателствата на професионалното развитие, включително целенасочено търсене на информация за конкретни работни позиции и работодатели“;
– „Успешно поведение на работното място – взаимоотношения с работодатели и колеги при изпълнение на работни задължения, работна етика“.
В рамките на тази дейност сдружение „Регионално движение „Екоюгозапад“ ще проведе обучение „Нашият зелен дом“, а 300 ученици/младежи ще преминат курс за придобиване и/или повишаване на дигиталните си умения, удостоверен със сертификат. Отговорна организация за обученията е Община Благоевград.
В рамките на тази дейност се предвижда организирането и провеждането на 40 младежки инициативи, които ще са инициирани от младежи на възраст от 13 до 29 г. от Благоевград и населените места в региона; неформална група младежи; ученически съвети; творци и/или младежки клубове.
Инициативите ще бъдат разделени в следните категории:
- Инициативи за младежко предприемачество, лидерство и бизнес развитие;
- Младежки инициативи за култура, традиции и креативни индустрии;
- Младежки инициативи за спорт, туризъм и здравословен начин на живот;
- Младежки инициативи за развитие на меки умения, социална ангажираност и активно гражданско участие;
- Тематични инициативи, напр. свързани с духа на празниците Коледа и Великден.
В рамките на тази дейност се предвижда организиране и координиране на срещи за създаване на контакти и сътрудничество между целевите групи и представители на местния бизнес във връзка с професионалната ориентация и подготовка на младите хора, както и с цел повишаване на мотивацията им за търсене на възможности за реализация на местно ниво. В тези срещи активно и водещо участие ще вземат бизнес партньорите по проекта – „Ванико“ ООД и „Растер юг“ ООД. Представители на организациите ще предоставят информация за възможности за работа, квалификация и преквалификация за младежите. Ще се организират менторски програми за младежи с конкретна кариерна ориентация с цел подпомагането им за реална реализация на пазара на труда. По този начин представителите на местния бизнес ще имат възможност да привлекат и обучат нови кадри в полза развитието на бизнеса си.
Акцент ще бъде поставен върху предприемачеството като форма за осигуряване на заетост на младите хора: младежко бизнес консултиране и подкрепа за младежко предприемачество, IT и зелено предприемачество. Тези обучения ще бъдат проведени от сдружение „Регионално движение „Екоюгозапад“.
В рамките на проекта ще се проведат общо четири обмена на опит и добри практики: два организирани от Община Благоевград – единият в Германия, а другият в друга държава от ЕС, както и два от сдружение „Активно българско общество“ – Национална среща на младежките центрове в Благоевград и международен младежки обмен, също в Благоевград.
