On March 31, 2025, the first meeting of the Youth Advisory Council, initiated by the local administration and the Youth Center – Blagoevgrad, was held at the Municipality of Blagoevgrad. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Municipality of Blagoevgrad, the Municipal Council, student councils, youth non-governmental organizations, schools, universities, business and industry organizations, trade unions, and institutions actively working for the development of young people in the region.
The council's leadership was elected for a two-year term, consisting of:
Chairperson – Adriana Krasteva, Manager of the Youth Center – Blagoevgrad;
Deputy Chairperson – Nasko Mikov, Deputy Chairperson of the Municipal Youth Parliament – Blagoevgrad;
Secretary – Alexandra Dyulgerova, Chief Expert in the Education Department of the Municipality of Blagoevgrad.
The council will continue to work actively on important youth initiatives, with the next meeting scheduled for April 29, 2025.
